Information
Quotations
Sign quotes can be obtained by either phone or email. Email is preferred
because we will then have a visual record of the information you provide.
Quotes will only be given to customers who supply their full name, location
and phone number.
Strata receives many
emails. Include full name and phone number in subsequent emails to allow
us to have a running record of conversations. Too many emails can create
confusion and cause mistakes. Emails will be responded to in the order
they are received, usually within a few days.
Design Work
Design work is a time-consuming and often arduous process. Each design
is unique to the customer. Full color, comprehensive designs are usually
submitted for approval from within a week to 10 days after the quote is
given. Please be advised that any design work or elements contained therein
remain the property of Strata until the sign order is consummated. Designs
are free of charge to serious sign buyers. If you are at all confused
about the type of sign you need, email several digital photos to our designers.
Include the text and graphic elements you wish to be incorporated in your
design as well. This will give us the ability to create a sign that is
compatible with your location.
Deposits
A 50% deposit is required for all sign orders, less shipping costs if
any. If you wish, a signed and dated receipt of deposit will be furnished.
The deposit is non refundable and covers time and material cost in the
event of cancellation.
Discounts
Discounts are provided to some third party vendors, with proof of resale.
Discounts are also available for multi unit orders. These orders must
contain 3 or more units to qualify. The lowest priced of 4 or more units
in the order will receive a 10% discount. Discounts are also given on
double sided signs. Double sided signs are basically two individual signs
that are laminated back to back. In this case, the second side will be
10% off the price of the first side.

Final Payment
All sign orders must be prepaid prior to shipment. Several digital photos
of your signs will be emailed to you before final payment is made to ensure
that you are satisfied. At the same time, a printable invoice in PDF format
will be sent. Invoice will indicate that deposit has been paid, balance
due, and any applicable shipping charges. The use of over night mail for
deposits and balances by Fed Ex or UPS will ensure delivery and expedite
delivery of your order. Before shipping, you must provide the recipient's
name and phone number, along with the exact mailing address. You will
be informed of our mailing address via email at the appropriate time.
Crating
Material cost and construction of crating is free of charge.
Shipping
Charges
Accurate shipping quotes can be determined only when your sign is completed,
crated, and ready to be delivered. Preliminary shipping quotes are estimates
only. Shipping charges to metropolitan areas are usually less than shipments
destined for rural areas. Also note that residential deliveries are substantially
more costly than those to business addresses. Use an alternative business
address if available to reduce the cost. Large sign orders or orders containing
several signs may qualify for up to a 50% discount in shipping. You will
be advised if any discounts apply to your order.
Overseas
and International Orders
Strata accepts sign orders outside the continental United States. Overseas
shipping can be quite expensive. We can arrange to have your sign shipped
via truck to a freight broker at the nearest coastal depot. From there,
the crate will be transferred to a ship for its final destination. You
will be subject to all brokerage fees.
International orders
will incur tariffs and/or import duties which again, can be quite costly.
Check with the taxing body of your government for these charges. Here
to, you are responsible for all shipping charges and taxes to your location.
